In addition to her passion of performance lameness and everything it entails – from digital radiographs and ultrasounds to the latest regenerative therapies to use as treatments for lameness, Dr. Hood also utilizes FormaHoof and partners with your farrier to ensure the best care for your horses. She also provides all preventative care services like wellness exams, routine field surgeries (castrations, etc), vaccines, and dental exams and floats, including tooth removal when indicated.

Another one of Dr. Hood’s passions is wound care and she utilizes her talented suturing skills as well as the newest and most restorative regenerative therapies to help horses have the best chance to return to their previous level of skill.
